33 but young at heart

Ok here goes... I'll try to keep this short and to-the-point.

Who I Am
-----
Hi, I am a 33 year old guy living in Staffordshire. I exited a 9 year relationship a good few months ago and recently decided it was time to move on and meet some new people outside of my current circle.

I like music, films, reading, socialising and the usual suspects really. I'm also a very ambitious person and very motivated by my own self-employed trade which I love. I work in the music industry and really enjoy it. One of the main aspects of my trade is teaching music to children and teenagers and this part of my work really taught me the value of patience and communication (that's the first big clue to what I do and who I am IRL!).

I am partner in a company based in Staffordshire. I have a very strong work ethic and so I also work a "regular job" in the mornings at a supermarket (exciting eh?) to stabilise my income. I've also been known to play the foreign exchange and stock exchange on-and-off for my pocket money. I'm also in the process of starting up a new e-business with another business partner which is launching in the new year Busy huh? Good thing I'm also strict with who gets use of my time and so I've always traditionally been able to put aside plenty of time for my significant others.

My friends and family (and customers) tell me I'm a very patient person, which is important in my line of work and I think it's fair to say that overall I'm a "nice guy" and can be quite laid back (but by no means a wimp) and I'm also very lively and spontaneous (especially with respect to things - and people - which inspire my passions).

What I Like To Do
-----
Music forms a big part of my life. I sing, play the guitar and I spend a lot of time listening to music as well. I enjoy clubs, concerts and gigs (as long as the music and atmosphere is good!) and I will frankly listen to pretty much anything all-in-all (live or at home). I have a very diverse music collection which includes a lot of pop, r'n'b, blues, classical music, rock, folk, and more. Be warned though... one of my embarrassing habits is picking up cheesy pop songs from my customers and customers' children, and then ending up walking around humming or whistling them without noticing I'm doing it.

I really enjoy the outdoors because it gives me a real sense of relaxation which is important to me when my jobs get stressful (though I am a bit of a wimp about the weather mostly because I tend to enjoy quiet places where I can relax a bit rather than get soaked/frozen!). Some of my favourite places to go to do this are Aberystwyth in Wales which has some gorgeous beaches, Knypersley in North Staffordshire (google it - especially the parts with the clean springs) and essentially anywhere where it's possible to escape from civilisation for a few hours to chill out.

I also appreciate keeping fit/self-improvement (I used to have a serious running habit at one point), and I used to do martial arts, weights and other stuff when I was a bit younger and had more time and energy to spare for it. I'd like to get back into the habit of a keep-fit routine again at some point in the future. I'm also a little bit of a techie. My businesses rely a lot on being good with technology and I do all the web dev/etc. for them. So if you are a technophobe, I can be your guide!

Oh yes, and I forgot to mention, I can also cook. My favourite things to eat (and cook) is basically split between traditional english food, italian food, and weird foreign stuff. My overall favourite being Thai food which is very addictive and strangely refreshing as well after a tough day.

Who I Am Looking For
-----
I'd like to meet a woman who appreciates the "hopeless romantic" side of me and has this sort of personality themselves. It would be good to meet someone who has a similar drive for self-improvement (I don't just mean a gym membership!) and maybe even some ambitions which perhaps we can grow into sharing.

If you're particularly into music then that's a huge bonus (any sort of music!) as that's one of my major interests.

I definitely appreciate women who are genuine rather than those who are pretentious or try to put on an act. I'm afraid that I'm not massively impressed by inches of makeup and silly poses and whatever. I'm a very "real" person and the type of women I find attractive reflect this too. This also means that I like to see people (and maybe even fall in love with them) for who they are on a day-to-day basis (because surely that's what matters, right?). I'm really open minded and not terribly judgemental so I don't mind the idea of dating BBW women or older women or tall women or in fact any sort of woman as long as long as the person in question is genuine and I can find them attractive. To sum-up, a good personality is the overall most attractive thing to me.

I do tend to gravitate towards younger women mostly because I behave and look very young for my age (33 looking 25 - #win). This isn't set in stone though, as I have been in solid relationships with older women in the past, so don't be put off if you are older than me and really want to get in contact.

Aaaand I totally failed at keeping this short and to the point. Oh well, I hope you enjoyed reading it (or at least some of it). Feel free to message me if you think I sound interesting. I do not bite :)
